I’m working on a writing question and need guidance to help me learn.

Imagine you are a detective, and you have a suspect who you believe is guilty of a crime waiting to be interviewed. As you begin interviewing the suspect, you can see that he is very calm and does not look sad or dejected. What steps would you take to try and get a confession out of this suspect, and why?
