During this very brief semester we have explored many social issues which impact not only the U.S., but the world.  For your essay, please select two social issues which we covered and briefly explain what surprised you the most about each issue.  What two main learning points did you take from your exploration and then explain your perspective as to how we can most effectively improve the problem.  For the last part of your essay, can you think of a social problem/issue which was simply not mentioned by the course?  Briefly describe it and the groups of people it impacts.  A page covering both problems and then a half page for the missing problem should be a length to attain for max points.  ( if you can’t come up with a social problem not covered, extend the other parts of your essay.
