Question 3: Discuss the “revolutionary” nature of Giotto’s art. How did Giotto introduce new ideas into art and what were those new ideas? What, or who, might have influenced Giotto to look at art differently? Compare his “new” style with what came before. Be sure to bring in specific examples of evidence of his “revolution” in art (should be at least one page long).
