In this week’s lecture we discussed the many different kinds of viruses. As nurses, you all will see these viruses and what they do to your patients. For this week’s discussion I want you to give an example of a viral infection (not coronavirus) and tell us a bit about it. Tell us the name of the microorganism that causes the infection, what some signs and symptoms are that a patient might have, and some treatment options. The more info, the better. Please feel free to research some information online about your virus but please remember to then put your research into your own words.
