Healthcare is highly regulated and numerous laws are passed every year at the state and federal levels that impact how healthcare is delivered.  Prepare a research paper on this topic that accomplishes the following:

1. Choose a healthcare related law that was passed at least six years ago but not older than 35 years ago. Do not choose the Affordable Care Act.  (Example Mental Capacity Act of 2005). It is strongly suggested you search for a law related to a healthcare topic of interest to you. 

2. Discuss the law in general and its main purposes. 

3. Research as to the impact the law has has in regard to its original purposes. List any obstacles that have impaired the law from achieving its purposes.

4. Finally, write a strong conclusion on can be done to help the law achieve its purposes to the greatest extent possible.
