DEH 4854 St Petersburg College Personality Type and Leadership Style Discussion

 

Based on the information that you learned about yourself in Module 1- leadership style- and Module 2- your personality type- write a paper that analyzes the correlation between your particular personality type and your perceived leadership style. This is intended to be a self-reflective exercise to help you to more clearly visualize and verbalize the strengths and weaknesses of personality type and preferred leadership style:

Begin with a short introductory paragraph on the significance/relationship between personality type and leadership style.

Choose either MBTI or Keirsey Personality Sorter (KPS) test results of your personality type.

  1. Describe your particular personality type according to MBTI or KPS.
  2. Describe your preferred leadership style- use the results of the test that you took in Module 1.
  3. Reflect on the correlation of your personality type and leadership style, including the perceived strengths and weaknesses of each.
  4. Discuss how knowing and understanding personality type of yourself and others will affect your continuing leadership skill development (5 and 6 will be the bulk of your paper, approximately 400-500 words).
  5. As you will be using resources in portions of this paper, you must use in-text citations as well as include a Reference page. A minimum of two references required one must be from a Journal or site outside of course materials.
