Hello Class,

Today we had a conversation on James Madison’s idea on government. However, we discussed Checks and Balances and the basis of it.  However, I want to know your opinions and questions on the matter. 

What I would like you to do is :

1. Watch the Crash Course on Checks and Balances; It is under Modules in the Unit 1 sections. It is also listed in this link https://www.pbs.org/video/crash-course-government-3/
2. Find or draw an image the illustrates the system of Checks and Balances and Separation of Powers. (Drawing is best.  I love to see your drawings!) of the Checks and Balances. Describe that system and explain how it relates to Federalist 51. 
3. Write your questions about this system of Checks and Balances and your opinions and thoughts about it.
