I’m trying to learn for my Article Writing class and I’m stuck. Can you help?

Read “The High School/College Writing Classroom Disconnect (Links to an external site.)” by John Warner “Academically Speaking” by Nathan (see pdf in files).

Both texts use student voices as evidence: sometimes as exhibits and other times as arguments. Introduce both texts and authors with a statement to identify the purpose of each text. Then, compare and contrast the way student-based evidence is used by each author in support of their claims. End with an open-ended question.
