1. Discuss the research-based social-cognitive manifestations of specific learning disabilities to describe the common emotional, behavioral, and cognitive difficulties students often experience.
2. As a special education administrator, identify an educational level of interest such as elementary, middle, or high school. Discuss how you would structure special education services for students with specific learning disabilities who are experiencing social and/or cognitive manifestations. Discuss how you would provide learning support within pull-out special education classrooms and inclusive classrooms, as well as what instructional qualities and practices you would want your special education teachers to possess.
