I’m studying and need help with a Writing question to help me learn.

Dear all, please read chapter 1-Foundations of Arguments (pp. 1-16 of your textbook) for discussing the first topic here.

Topic 1: Foundations of Arguments
Scan through some news/social media you usually read and find an example of an argument. Either quote the argument, or provide a link of the source. Using the book’s criteria, please provide an explanation for why you think this constitutes an argument. Then, respond to some other people’s posts and explain if you agree with them about whether their examples constituted arguments and why or why not.

Topic 2: Values and Ethics
Examine a value system such as one of those given in the section on ethics. You might study the principles of a specific religion or a political philosophy, such as Christianity, Buddhism, or socialism. Try to list the value assumptions and principles for that system and include examples of how belief in the system affects decision making.
