I’m working on a history writing question and need a sample draft to help me learn.

In which ways did Napoleon fulfill the ideals of the French Revolution, and in which ways did he trample upon them? Think of Napoleon’s expeditions of the conquest of the rest of Europe, and focus on the effects of the Revolution in France on an island in the Caribbean – Haiti.

Answer giving examples from the period, but also think of similar situations in the contemporary global society, when good ideas and opportunities for change turn into something else… much worse… (Do remember that you need to primarily address the issues in this historic period – French Revolution/Napoleon and the immediate period after).
