3. 2 Discussion: Audience and Purpose in the 105 style

This week, we are going to continue our discussion of audience and purpose of different texts. In order to do so, you will read and watch three different texts. After you familiarize yourself with these texts, write a discussion post answering the questions about the texts.

1. Where was each text published? In other words, what is the source of each text? What person or organization wrote it? Be specific. 

2. For each text, what is the audience? In other words, describe who are the writers/ creators of each text speaking or writing to? Who are the intended listeners or reader of each text? 

3. What is the purpose of each text? In other words, why did the creator of each text wrote or post this?
