For this assignment, you will be helping inform the content of this text.  In order to give the text more depth and perhaps staying power for the students what is needed.  Your job then is to help shape the content of the text and the experience of future students by aiding in the process of selecting those images. 

To do this, read the timeline for the topic “Federalism” and find the section that is perhaps the most interesting or even least interesting to you.  Perhaps it is a section that helped you understand the unit the best.  Perhaps it is a section that you feel requires more than just words, that the words just don’t have enough meaning. 

Once you do, search the websites below for an image or an image that you think would give this section more value.  You can select from any of the websites below:

Once you find that image, go ahead and note the identifying information (the web address) and cut-and-paste the image into your document.  They say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”  So after you find the picture you want to use write a paragraph or two about that image and what you think it conveys about the text.  In effect, make the case for your image and why you think it should be included in the text.  It doesn’t have to be “a thousand words” but you get the idea.
