Essay Question/Topic- Does preparation for success against irregular threats aid the Marine Corps’  ability to fight and win a major war against a near-peer competitor or is it a  detriment? Why?

My Thesis-  Preparation for success, when against irregular threats, increases aid for the Marine Corps and their ability win a war adequately since this gives Marines an advantage in combat, equips them with readiness, creates a stronger military, and decreases external risks from peer competitors
