Discussion: Personal Statement Essay and Scholarships

During your education you will most likely be writing a Personal Statement. This could be for a scholarship or applying for transfer to a university. For this assignment, I’d like for you to consider applying for scholarships and a university to transfer. For example, every semester, Cuyamaca and Grossmont offer scholarships in which there is a deadline to apply. There are also outside scholarships to apply to as well. Every fall semester, many students apply to the CSU or UC or private schools for transfer. Often times you will be writing a Personal Statement or answering questions that are a Personal Statement, asking, why are you applying for a scholarship or to transfer.
