The purpose of this assignment is to pick a potential new, or generate your own, health policy which is applicable to what is being advocated by your interest group. You will then apply that policy through the implementation Phase of health policymaking. Refer to pages 90-94 in Health Policymaking.

In no less than a two page paper do the following:

1. Come up with at least one task for each of the policy implementation steps to move your potential policy forward.
   a. You will have at least one task for design,
   b. at least one task for rule-making,
   c. at least one task for operation, and
   d. at least one task for evaluation.
2. These tasks will demonstrate how each step will contribute to the implementation of the new policy.
   a. For instance, what could be addressed as part of the design? What rules could be made? What changes could be looked for during evaluation?
   b. You are examining how your policy will move through the steps of implementation to be prepared for arrival at the modification phase.
3. Your conclusion paragraph should describe how the mental practice of performing the implementation steps’ tasks assisted you in your understanding of how the steps are applied to actual health policies.
