Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd University Chapter 9 Healthy Aging Essay

 

The student will show understanding of writing for a specific audience with the following purpose: defining knowledge of a cause of something or an effect of something.

The student will be able to operate conventions of punctuation and            mechanics, varieties of manuscript form, and manuscript preparation using word processing software (microsoft word) and APA formatting.

The student will be able to apply her knowledge of the writing process, grammatical sentence construction, stylistic choices, effective and appropriate word choice.

The student will be able to organize the essay by following the steps used in writing a traditional expository essay: starting with selection of the subject, establishing direction, presenting a clear thesis, following an organizational pattern, using transitions, and drawing a logical conclusion.

  • The student will be able to write a captivating introduction, a coherent thesis statement, a well-developed, organized, and supported text, and a conclusion that leads the reader to the bigger picture.

The student will be able to use the principles of academic integrity that will inform students’ work at the university and in life.
