The New York Times article states the pros and cons of the film. It explains the positive aspects of the film while also being a harsh critique of how the first scenes diminish women. Even though Dargis gives a harsh review, she states that “you don’t have to be held hostage by the Marvel Weltanschauung in order to enjoy ‘Guardians’” (Dargis, 2014). This article fits my paper because it has multiple opinions which can enrich my paper.
