For this final response paper you will be writing about the strength of any one of the film elements in both Lady Bird and Moonlight. It’s up to you which film element you select but I’d like you to focus on how it works in both. However, I’d be ok with you writing about one element from each one because I know the films are very different. However, what makes this a little different is that I want you to review both of the films’ IMDB page reviews at Moonlight (2016) (Links to an external site.) and Lady Bird (2017) (Links to an external site.). At the top of the page you’ll see a bar that reads “Full Cast and Crew, Trivia, Use Reviews, etc.” Click on where it says “More.” Here you’ll see another long list, Click on External Reviews under the Opinion Section. Here you’ll find a list of the film’s critical reviews (not user reviews). In two paragraphs, one for each film, write about what the critical reception was of that film. Look at at least 4-5 reviews each. (This is practice for your final essay where you’ll be writing on the critical reception of your final paper).
