For Essay 3 you will analyze a literary element(s) of a story/poem of your choosing that we will have read before the due date of the assignment. Remember, then, that your essays are not summaries; rather, they are analyses. 

Your essays should have at least 5 paragraphs, and each paragraph should have at least 6 sentences, excepting your conclusion paragraph which must have at least 3 sentences. 

HIGHLIGHT YOUR THESIS. Then make sure that your essay stays on topic/aligned with your thesis including that your topic sentences (the first sentences in your body paragraphs) refer to said thesis.
