Each person in the class will be assigned to a group which will debate one of the 3 debate topics:

1. premarital sex
2. abortion
3. gun control or
4. free college.

You will be required to have at least ten sources to back up your side. Please link a source to a specific piece of evidence.

You are to have a PowerPoint Presentation consisting of at least 10 slides. I want more pictures and graphics in addition to words. Make sure the pictures are tasteful and appropriate for a college setting.

Also, each person is to be videotaped presenting at least ONE of the slides in the PPT. We will show this video presentation in class. The video presentation should be 8-10 minutes long presenting your side. The picture of the student presenting the slide should be at the lower right-hand corner of the video presentation.

In front of the whole class you will have 5 minutes then to rebut the other side of the issue.

To get good evidence for your side, please use the sources found in Wikipedia on your topic and use Points of View found on the NC Library Webpage. Do not Google!
