BASIC REQUIREMENTS

4.Proper CITATION of focused, scholarly sources in footnotes, following Chicago guidelines.

5.A WORKS CITEDpage, again following Chicago guidelines (handout on Canvas and on the MU library website). You may also include works that were helpful but that you did not cite.

6.ILLUSTRATIONS, fully labeled with a caption and clearly cited in the document. These should appear at the end of the essay, not embedded in the text (10 full pages of text means 10 pages of text).oIllustrations must be big enough for the reader to see and not blurry; a good rule of thumb is 2 illustrations per page at 1000pixels in the larger dimension.
