It’s redundant and does not sound professional. If I want you to use first person I will say it in the prompt. 2. Read the prompts carefully. Understand fully what the prompt is asking for. Do not skim the prompts. Look for key words like: explain, compare, contrast, etc.3. Write in paragraphs. Avoid using bullet lists (unless specifically asked to). Use breaks in paragraphs when switching topics. 4. Read your assignment all the way through before submitting. This will help you catch typos and awkward wording. 5. Avoid personally charged charged comments. In this course we will be discussing public relations in reference to current events. Avoid stating political opinions. Keep your writing assignments on track. 6. Find your creative voice. Write something you would like to read. Use examples. Do a little extra research on the topic or company. Write with an informed and clear voice. Short sentences can often be more powerful than long ones.
