Miami Dade College The Principles of Economics Essay

You have one semester left to graduate and you have the finances to do a maximum of four courses. Three of the courses are required courses. The last course slot belongs to an elective. You have narrowed down your choices to three electives, all of which are very popular and very useful courses that you are very interested in. Decide on the course you want to take. Then using at least two economic decision-making principles, explain why you are making this choice.

Develop a response that includes examples and evidence to support your ideas, and which clearly communicates the required message to your audience. Organize your response in a clear and logical manner as appropriate for the genre of writing. Use well-structured sentences, audience-appropriate language, and correct conventions of standard American English.

This is my idea : I am doing my associates degree in Social Work in Miami Dade College. In order to continue studying to do my Bachelor and Master degrees at Florida International University, I need to graduate and transfer my AA credits from MDC to FIU. My last semester to graduate is Summer 2021and I only need 10 credits to graduate. I have to complete three competencies which are communications, mathematics and civic literacy. This means I need to take three required courses which are ENC1102, ECO2013 and POS2041. Each course is 3 credits which means I will have 9 credits at the end of the semester so I am 1 credit short to graduate, which means I am going to need to take and elective class. There is three courses that I am interested in for my last credit, these three classes are Psychology (PSY2012), Sociology (SYG2000) and Fey Seminar (SLS1106). The course PSY2012 and SYG2000 are each worth 3 credits and they both have a cost of $345.66, while the course SLS1106 is only worth 1 credit and has a cost of $115.22. I have decided that I am going to take the Fey Seminar class because is the one that cost the least this way if I use Financial Aid I can use the rest of the money to buy the classes books. Also, the other reason why I choose this course is because while this course is only 1 credit worth the other two courses are worth 3 credits and I only need 1 credit to graduate.
