For this assignment, I would like to use the Oncology department as the population and the problem would be the length of stay of patients receiving chemo. Interventions would be increasing precautionary measures, making sure medications are given on time. Comparison would be to those patients who are receiving chemo in an outpatient basis, the outcome would be less time hospitalized.
I chose this PICO question because it is the department in which I work and it pains to constantly see clients continuously day in and day out
