First, you need to find a recent newspaper article from one of the approved newspapers that you can link to specific course content(For this module is the google doc video “Policies of the state’,https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mY_X_AsukIrCoG7dg… ). By recent, I mean the article must have been published at some point after the module start date. The dates here are very important. This means you cannot select an article published before May 20th 2021 for the newspaper assignments for this module.

The article must come from one of the following newspapers: New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, or Los Angeles Times. Furthermore, it must be a news article and not an opinion piece or op-ed. Be very careful that you select an article that is covering a news event and not offering analysis.

Not all newspaper articles will connect equally well to the course theme. To earn a high grade, you’ll need to make sure you find an article that you connect with course content. As a result, you should likely plan on reading multiple articles before deciding which one you will be writing about. Your assignment must, however, be written about a single newspaper article. You must provide us with a citation to your article, which should appear in the following format:

AuthorLast, AuthorFirst. “Article Title.” Newspaper Name. Month Day.
