I’m working on a writing report and need a sample draft to help me learn.

For this response, Little Man page 308 

1. Consider what context can do to help interpretation. For example, the intended audience can change our interpretation of a given story (Perrault vs. Grimm Brothers). Context is everything that surrounds that story, including history, connections to other stories, religious symbolism, traditions, world events, etc. 

2. Choose a story and consider its context–where or when it was written,  for whom it was intended, the author’s life, history, etc. 

3. Discuss what effect the context of that story has on our intepretation, possible meanings taken from the story.
