Q1: How do these various cultures represent their ideas of utopia and dystopia? What do they have in common? What is different? Choose TWO to discuss in your response.

Utopia:

(noun) Originating from the Greek words: “eu-topos,” a region of happiness and perfection, and also from “ou” (not) and “topos” (place), meaning literally nowhere. Utopia is considered to mean an ideal place that does not — yet — exist.

Dystopia:

(noun) An imaginary place that is evil, corrupt, filled with terror, politically oppressive, and comparable to a hellish society. The opposite of Utopia.
