Strategy Planning Process McDonalds Corporation Case Study

(Hint: This is the heart of the case, where significant assessment must be done through RBV, core competences and VRIO Analysis, performed on a set of very specific, identified resources/capabilities)
  3. What is McDonald’s business model? How successful has it been? What are its weaknesses? (Hint: Refer to the business model reading under Module 3 for this part.)
  4. Going forward, what should Easterbrook do to achieve his strategic plan for the company? (Hint: This is about formulation of your recommendations for an action plan for the CEO, based on the results of the analyses under 1, 2 and 3).
