Your semester project will consist of eight parts, each of which is
completed weekly. In this project you are asked to apply the contents of
this course to an organization of your own choosing. Each week’s
project part will directly reflect the course content and your learning
in the weekly discussion. While the weekly discussion will use a case
study for application, the weekly project will focus on your own
organization, or one that you have known well.

For this part of your organizational assessment you are asked to:

• Assess the degree to which your organization and
  industry (direct competitors) have competed (select one product
  category) using the Ten Types of Innovation as a framework.
• Using the Ten Types of Innovation framework and going back to your
  Customer Value Proposition done previously, create an alternative and
  innovative business model for your current product and service offering.
  Remember that to be truly innovative your new business model should use
  approximately five “types” in three colors!
