1. Select THREE specific concepts or terms from our text. Select one concept/term from Chapter 8, one concept/term from Chapter 9, and one concept/term from Chapter 10.

The first time you write each concept/term, please put it in bold so that it is completely clear what concept/term you have selected.

2. For each concept or term, define it in 1-2 paragraphs, starting briefly with the official definition, then provide your own understanding of the term, explaining its main components by using a personal example from outside of class. This could be something that happened to you, something you saw involving others, or even something you’ve read or seen elsewhere. I am looking for your understanding of the concept/term and your ability to illustrate it effectively using your own language with examples from outside our classroom.

No introduction or conclusion is required for this assignment.

3. Each example should be 200-400 words in length, for a total of 600-1200 words. Cite your quotations and references using APA In-Text citation. Here is a guide to doing that:

You do NOT need to have a title page or references list. You do not need to include any texts or official sources other than our textbook, although you are certainly welcome to do so.
