I’m trying to study for my Religion course and I need some help to understand this question.

Have you ever heard of the Documentary Hypothesis?  Do you think looking at the Bible in this manner helps or hinders one’s perceptions of what is in the text?  Can you think of other plausible ways to interpret the biblical texts?
