Deadlines and Grading

Because this is a multi-step process that would benefit from feedback throughout, the HIA will be broken into sections to be submitted throughout the course, with a final full report submitted at the start of the last week. Deadlines and grading are outlined below.

All submissions are expected by 11:59 PM EST on Sunday of the week indicated below.

• Week 2 July,3 – Identification of a policy or project and involved stakeholders
• Week 3 July,10 – Identification of community concerns, gathered from two stakeholder interviews
• Week 4 July,17– Report of community data and statistics
• Week 5 July,24 – Report of community policies
• Week 7 July,31 – Complete HIA assignment with incorporated feedback from previous sections

Five (5) points will be awarded for each component submission (weeks 2 through 5), 3 points for on-time submission, and 2 points for evidence of a reasonable effort. Grading for the complete report is outlined in the rubric below.
