1. Select THREE specific concepts or terms from our text. Select one concept/term from Chapter 12, one concept/term from Chapter 7, and one concept/term from Chapter 13.

The first time you write each concept/term, please put it in bold so that it is completely clear what concept/term you have selected.

For each concept or term, define it in 1-2 paragraphs, starting briefly with the official definition, then provide your own understanding of the term, explaining its main components by using a personal example from outside of class. This could be something that happened to you, something you saw involving others, or even something you’ve read or seen elsewhere. I am looking for your understanding of the concept/term and your ability to illustrate it effectively using your own language with examples from outside our classroom.
