DeVry University New York World Religions Questions

There are multitudinous examples of how the desirable and undesirable are characterized and discussed at length in each of the world’s religions. That which is desirable in human behavior may be characterized as Virtue (as opposed to sin or vice), or as a set of Ideals, or as the Dharmic Path.
Compare and contrast the Cardinal Sins (and their concomitant Virtues) in Christianity with the Eightfold Path in Buddhism, and the Five Ideals in Confucianism. How do they point their followers to similar sorts of desired behavior, and what are the sanctions for falling short or going astray?
Give examples of how these show up in the scriptures and traditions of each of these three traditions.
