Each of the following models of abnormality is a framework we can use to understand how humans operate:
– Biological
– Psychodynamic
– Cognitive Behavioral
– Humanistic-Existential
– Sociocultural

The purpose of this activity is to help you be thoughtful about which models appeal to you the most and which ones appeal to you the least.

Step 1: In 200+ words, tell us which model you find the most interesting and why. Explain two aspects or elements of the model you find interesting and one aspect or element of the model you think is worth questioning.

(By “aspect or element” I mean anything related to the model. It could be a core principle of the model or simply an interesting fact that came up in the textbook or the lectures when learning about the model. Whatever you choose, let us know why you chose it.)

Step 2: In 200+ words, tell us which model you find the least appealing and why. Explain two aspects or elements of the model you find questionable or that simply don’t appeal to you, and one aspect  or element of the model that you find useful or appealing.
