Irvine Valley College Exceptional Performance in a Jazz Concert Discussion

Listen to one concert provided and write a concert report. Your report should be 1–2 pages long (min. 500 words), and should be a personal account of your experience at the performance. Be sure you tell me what music you heard, who performed it. I’m not looking for analysis of the music or a critique of the performers; I’d like to know what was interesting to you, what you learned, what you found strange or confusing, what new thoughts or ideas the music inspired. If you’re inspired to do a little further reading on what you heard, include that, too! Do not copy the program notes. Do not plagiarize from Wikipedia. It needs to be obvious that you actually watched the whole thing, so be sure to include specific observations of/reactions to the music; if your report just says a lot of things like “I really liked how emotional all the pieces were!”, I get suspicious. I encourage you to do some googling to learn more about the music you’re hearing.
