Although closely connected in some ways, Magic Realism and Surrealism differ in the content itself.

Please select any two of Pablo Neruda’s poems, first explaining why these poems were most interesting or moving or memorable for you, and why. Then, more specifically, cite two examples (one from each poem) of surrealism, remembering that juxtaposition (the placement of two seemingly unlike things close together) is a prime technique used in Surrealist poetry.
