For this discussion, some of us talked in class about designing a film on reproductive justice. I am paring that down a bit to ask you to design a short film or PSA (Public Service Announcement) on a reproductive justice topic in/for any of the places we have discussed in this module. Please write out a film outline or PSA script with nuggets of information on your topic, drawing from modules in this reading. You may want to supplement with some outside statistics on your chosen topic/place. Your script should education, inform, persuade your audience. Your audience might be rural women, health care workers, new mothers, teenagers, etc.

For example, I might design a short piece on the merits of prenatal visits–what are they, why are they important, and how do they matter for ….Addis Ababa, or rural Haiti. Or I might create a local PSA for where to access different kinds of support for pregnant women. Or something on the role of midwives in reducing Cesarean sections.
