Also, the change: I’ve decided to make the second part of the second reading response a little more straightforward by asking you to find contrasts between the kinds of Christian faith discussed by the two authors. Here’s the new version of the assignment:

The following questions will help you to analyze this development: i) According to Jenkins, what do Christian churches in the Global South offer their members, and how are they adapting to the cultural settings in which they find themselves? ii) How does de la Torre’s “liberative” approach differ from the kind of Christian faith described by Jenkins?”
