1- Review the following video on attachment theory. According to the theory, describe the connection between the attachment that children develop with their caregivers as babies to the attachment these individuals experience later on, as adults, in romantic relationships or friendships.

2- Identify the three elements of emotion. Then look at the picture in the video depicting the six “universal” human emotions. Before you hear the speaker identify them, see if you can identify which six emotions the woman is making. How accurate were your guesses?

3- What is the difference between sex and gender? Do psychologists believe nature or nurture to be more significant in shaping a child’s gender identity and preferences? You may review the following video to support your response.

4- Watch the following videos on being transgender. Do you know any transgender people? How would you respond if your child told you s/he was transgender?
