No one can help you, because they do not know either.
You know that you can prepare just like you would for any midterm, studying terms, how they relate to your personal, organizational, and leadership life. You can practice writing a paragraph for each term, with citations
Evaluation – what is the article about that I will give you?
Relate this theme to your conflict – 1 good 1 bad experience from the conflict. Let this help you frame what key topics you will discuss in the analysis part. You do not mention the three key terms here, but the theme of the article frames what topics you will discuss and what conflict you discuss that will help the terms and your experience make sense together with the article.
As discussed in class, pick your favourite topics that you enjoy, that you think will help you to be a better leader, and/or interest you the most. You can prepare early, like you would for any exam.

Analysis (3 pages total 3/4 page per term, plus a 3 sentence analysis summary).
Pick a 3 sentence Analysis Summary: how does the theme of the article relate to the three key words you chose to talk about? This is up to you to interpret. I am giving you freedom here. Like I said, if you studied power and I give you a topic on being a good leader, perhaps you state that Hughes et al (year) states that being a good leader means using three types of power: relationship, reward, and expertise. I will now discuss how these types of power are related to my conflict.
[example Headers] try to pick terms for this essay that are not about power, as you already discussed power before. This is just an example.
Power of Relationships
Power of Expertise
Power of Reward
1) Write a paragraph for each term, with citations: define each term well enough for someone who never heard of the term before to understand what this term means. Why is it important to leadership, how does it work, what does it do. Discuss it and give an example from the readings. Try to make this relevant to yourself. Each of the term paragraphs should be academic, from the course textbook and you can support this a bit from your own favourite article of choice. During the midterm, you will need to include the article provided to you that day.
2) Then make a paragraph of each term that relates to a conflict you have had. How did that term help you understand the situation, or help you to understand your leader, or yourself?
