It is interesting to note how correlated staff satifaction to customer experience. It is true that having an engaged and dedicated team can result in positive outcome for patients. This is due to the quality of care staff provides. Nevertheless, you will always encounter patients that will not be satisfied no matter how great of a service you provided. How do you think an organization should handle such unwarranted negative reviews or feedback. Should such be given credence?

I do agree that patient satisfaction is crucial in strategic planning because, as you mentioned, customer experience can influence payments such as in value-based purchasing.
