you may have had with travel and tourism so far.  Page & Connell (2020 p.16) point out that tourism is 

place-specific as opposed to being placeless.  What do these terms mean and why do you think Page &

1b) In chapter 4, Page & Connell (2020) discuss many criteria relating to tourism demand but there are 

several components missing.  What kind of attention does Page & Connell (2020) give to diversity and 

ethnicity within tourism demand? Is there a focus on LGBTQ+ and BIPOC narratives within this text? 

What inferences can you make about general tourism academic content on ethnicity and diversity?
