You are going to look at some images of the war memorials in Washington, DC: The World War II Memorial, The Korean War Memorial, and the Vietnam War Memorial Wall. The file of images is attached at the bottom of these instructions.

Think about how each of these wars are represented in the memorials. Are they personal? Impersonal? Do they focus on soldiers? Do they celebrate the war or not? Why do you think the representations of these three wars is different? What do the memorials tell us about our memory of each war?
