Activity 2: Environmental Crime

This Activity is comprised of three (3) parts. Your Activity responses should be both grammatically and mechanically correct and formatted in the same fashion as the Activity itself. Choose one of the white-collar case studies highlighted in your text.

Part A Summarize the critical facts of the case.

Part B Discuss the federal and/or state agencies that have been established to oversee the crime under discussion in the case study you selected. For instance, if you choose the case study Combustible Dust, explain which agencies are responsible for regulating and investigating environmental crimes, and enforcing penalties against offenders charged with committing those crimes.

Part C Explain the major federal and/or state laws that have been enacted to govern the crime. For instance, if you choose the case study Combustible Dust, explain which laws govern this crime.
