Select and research a terrorist case in which a defendant(s) was identified using the EC Library, or other terrorism incident databases such as the U. of Maryland’s (Links to an external site.) or RAND’s (Links to an external site.). 

• Based upon your research and facts from the case, provide an argument for why you believe that person(s) became a terrorist.
• As part of your analysis and argument, do you believe the person(s) were in whole or in part motivated by a mental disorder, or some type of socialization?

How can you determine that the person(s) was indeed a terrorist, as opposed to an organized crime member, lower-level criminal, or simply an isolated sociopath?
