San Jacinto College Minority Groups and Stereotypes African Americans Paper

Student will select a minority group from below.
Using the textbook, the student will define the word “stereotype”.
The student will then select and research a stereotype of the minority group
The student will explain the stereotype of the minority group by discussing the origin and if the stereotype is currently being used today to address this minority group (past, present and future).
The student will then provide information that dispels the stereotype (social responsibility)
Select one theoretical perspective and state it agrees or disagrees with your opinion and why?

Write 2-4 page paper
Use at least 2 references (scholarly journal and/or book), your textbook can be considered a reference.
