Forum 4: Failure rate of strategic alliances

Some argue that at 30%-70% strategic alliances failure rate, firms need to scale down their alliance activities. Others suggest that this failure rate is not particularly higher than the failure rate of start-ups, M&A, and new product launches. Therefore, such a failure rate is not of a grave concern. What do you think? (p. 188)
