For example, in some professions, you may need to be commanding,  while in others you may need to be nurturing to succeed. Identify the  traits or values of successful leaders in the career you are  currently working in or wish to enter. You should evaluate at least five traits. 

Next, analyze yourself according to each of those traits. Examine your strengths and weaknesses in each area. 

Finally, reflect on what feel you need to do to strengthen your skills.
